The Justice Conference would not be possible without an amazing group of servant hearted, dedicated and talented volunteers. Last year, we had over fifty wonderful volunteers donate their time at the conference and had a small hard-working team who contributed behind the scenes in the months leading up to the event. 

We have a few fantastic ways in which to get involved, both at the conference and working with the team in the lead up. Read on to learn more!


Conference Volunteer
Time commitment: Friday 26th & Saturday 27th October (rostered shifts)
Location: Melbourne CBD

Ideally Volunteers would be available for the entirety of the conference (Friday 26th and Saturday 27th October). However, you will not be rostered on for the full duration and you are free to attend the conference the remainder of the time (we will issue you with a complimentary ticket). Volunteer roles include ushering, welcoming and registration, audio visual support and pack up and set up crew.  If you're keen to join the crew, please complete our online expression of interest and one of our team members will be in contact. Volunteer Coordinator
Time commitment: 1 day per week (increasing according to demand prior to & availability the whole week prior to & of the conference
Location: Blackburn (Melbourne)

The Volunteer Coordinator role has been created to support the Event Coordinator. The primary function of the role is to recruit volunteers for the conference weekend, roster the volunteers and communicate with the volunteer team. Other tasks include assisting the development of volunteer roles, as well as coordinating and managing volunteers in the lead up to and at The Justice Conference. The Justice Conference relies greatly on its volunteer support and sees the development and management of these relationships as vital. You can view the position description here. Administration Volunteers
Time commitment: Various (a few hours a week to a day a week/fortnight)
Location: Blackburn (Melbourne)
